  Healthcare Projects

Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center (Spectrum Health):
Responsible for the exterior envelope and eight floor office suites of a 320,000 SF, ten story, $63 million addition to the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids MI. This facility features over 200 in-patient beds, surgical suite, CATH labs, and medical office suites.

McKee Medical Center (Banner Health):
Responsible for 121,000 SF, $21 million addition and renovation to the McKee Medical Center, Loveland, CO. This facility features PACU, intensive care, and obstetrics wards.

Miscellaneous remodeling projects for Spectrum Health:
Responsible for various projects that include a 34-bed oncology ward, a surgical suite, CAT scan room, etc.

UF/Shand's Orthopaedics & Sport Medicine Institute:
Responsible for the architecture and schematic design of a 120,000 SF, out-patient facility for diagnosis and physical therapy at the University of Florida.

Educational Projects

Calvin College Life Science Building:
Responsible for a 72,000 SF, $18,000,000 laboratory facility for the Chemistry and Biology departments.
Oakridge New High School & Middle School Renovation:
Responsible for the design of a 96,000 SF, $11,000,000 high school addition for 550 students and the conversion of the existing high school into a middle school.
Merrill Community Schools:
Responsible for a $10,000,000 bond issue for the additions and renovation to the elementary school and high school.

Whitehall Public Schools:
Responsible for the design and architecture of an $11,000,000 bond issue renovated three existing buildings and included the new Shoreline Elementary School, a 64,000 SF, $4,500,000 K-3 building which featured hands-on learning labs for each grade. Shoreline Elementary appeared in American School & University magazine.

DeWitt School District:
Responsible for the design and architecture of a $9,000,000 bond issue for additions and renovation of the district's seven buildings.

Lee School Additional:
Responsible for the design and architecture of a $3,700,000 classroom & gymnasium addition to Lee School, a K-12 facility in the Godfrey-Lee School District.

Retail Projects

The Mousegear Store, EPCOT, Walt Disney World:
Responsible for working in cooperation with Walt Disney Imagineering and Pavlik Design Team to renovate a 27,000 SF retail store for the millennium celebration at the EPCOT theme park. This $20,000,000 project is the first time Disney used major animation within a retail space.

Borders Bookstore, Charlotte NC:
Responsible for the design of a new 23,000 SF bookstore attached to a new mall.

Seattle's Best Coffee Conversions Quality Control:
Responsible for the quality control review of documents for the conversion of cafes within Borders Bookstores. These reviews include the work of various architects during various phases.

D&W, Kentwood:
Responsible for the design of a renovation of the grocery store at Eastern & 52nd Street included exterior renovation of the entire shopping center.

Commercial & Industrial Projects

Great Lakes Computer:
Responsible for the design of a 40,000 SF, $3,000,000 office/industrial facility is the corporate headquarters for a company that refurbishes and resales used computers.

Karona Door Company:
Responsible for the design of an 80,000 SF manufacturing facility for the production of wood doors. Precast concrete wall panels were used to improve the appearance and durability of this building.

Monroe, Sweeris & Tromp Office Building:
Responsible for the design of an 10,000 SF office building for an accounting firm.

Engineering Firm Office Building:
Responsible for the design of an engineering firm's office building that has large window areas to take advantage of the view to the company's reclaimed pond.
